* Played 'Cynthia' in the American pilot "Mermaids" (Nov-Dec 2002)

* Played 'Angie' in the short film Gravy (Oct 2002)

* Played 'Finn' in the American series "The Lost World" (2001+2002)

* Played 'Farmer Joanne' in the short film "Diagnosis Narcolepsy" (2002)

* Played 'Posy' in "Head Start" (2001)

* Played 'Fiona' in telemovie "Balmain Boys" (2001)

* Cute girl on plane in American film "Down and Under" (2001)

* Played 'Eve' in the short film "Techno Junkie" (2001)

* Played Phoebe, an Amazon Warrior in "The Lost World" (2000)

* Was 'Marika' in the American series  "Beastmaster" (2000)

1998-2001

* Did guest roles as; 'Caitlan' in "Above the law", 'Cathy Maxwell' in "All Saints", 'Bianca' in "Home and Away" and 'Kerrie' in "State Coroner".

* Was the virginal ex-girlfriend in the feature film "Angst" (1999)

* Played 'Anita Scheppers' in "Heartbreak High" (1996-98)

* Played 'Melody', the drummer in an all girl band for the short film "Kitty Spit" (1998)

* Has also been in TV commercials since she was fifteen

Lara was taught the acting method 'practical aesthetics' by Nico Lathouris and Andrea Moore while working on Heartbreak High. She has also worked with an American accent coach. All the cast members of Heartbreak High were also given both voice and movement classes.

Apart from a few commercials Lara did while still in high school, her first TV role was in the teenage drama Heartbreak High.

"This is a hard one!! I have so many favourites. Two  favourites from my childhood are;  'The Princess Bride' and 'Labrynth'...but more recent favourites are....'Life as a house',  'Fight Club', "Shawshank Redemption"...and so many more...
 
Favourite TV show:
 
"I think my favourite Australian TV show at the moment would have to be "The Secret Life of Us"...the acting is excellent and the stories are interesting and believable....and i love watching 'Rove live'...."
